Internet Explorer 6 or lower don't handle transparency of the images in the format png‑24. It shows instead a sky blue background. If you wish to preserve the transparency of icons, it is advised to convert with the help of your favourite drawing software these files to the format png-8 or gif before their on-line publishing to guarantee a correct displaying on all the navigators. Otherwise, you can, always with the help of your drawing software, remove the transparent color by remplacing it by a background colour (depends of the background color of your website) and save the result in the format of your choice (png‑24, png‑8, jpg...).
