If you can get away and you’re with a loved one you should lock arms and walk away from trouble. You should always pick small children up and carry them so they will not be crushed by an escaping crowd.

Avoid the masses: In the event that a large number of people are running away from something, it is best for you to go the other way, while avoiding the danger. People tend to group up, trample each other, and get bottle-necked in tight escape routes. DO not get involved with the situation. It’s called survival for a reason. See to yourself and your loved ones and get away from danger.

When in an automobile: If you are surrounded by an angry mob, roll up your windows and lock the doors. Drive in the opposite direction as the encroaching mob.
